As I was driving today, I was passed and viciously cut off by an SUV going 80 MPH on a 50 MPH road. The irony of the situation? The maniac driver’s vehicle had a “baby on board” sticker plastered boldly on their trunk window. I thought that usually meant that the driver was careful and protective of their child?

As I was browsing the newswires yesterday, I came across an article discussing a new program schools in America are promoting: a “Learn and Earn” program. Are you kidding me? A few days back as I was doing my usual rounds on the web, checking the scores from the night before and reading the news, I came across something that startled me on CNN.com’s homepage. What was it? Live updates of Britney Spear’s child custody hearing taking place in California. Is this what America is coming to?
