After finding out New York Governor Eliot Spitzer has been busted for being a willing customer of an escort service, it brings up the very pertinent fact that humans are inclined to be immoral.  Eliot Spitzer was an aggressive man who tried to bring criminals to justice as best he could.  He fiercely attacked prostitution rings and was a respected public figure.  The fact that he paid for an escort would seem unbelievable to some people, but human beings are attracted to immorality.  When (more…)

News broke recently that a college student at Ryerson University in Canada is under fire and could face expulsion for running an online study group for students. The student created a Facebook group where classmates swapped tips and answers for homework assignments. Don’t let “free” sway a decision.

Everyone seems to get excited by the word free. The mere notion of receiving “something” for “nothing” elevates sentiment towards an idea, company or product. However, what people oftentimes fail to realize is that items are rarely given away for free. The cost is recouped somewhere else. Popular sites need to put more thought into the content they release!

By now everyone has heard of the economic stimulus plan being passed by Congress.  Individuals earning up to $75,000 will receive checks for $600 while married couples earning up to $150,000 will get checks for $1200.  This isn’t an overly complicated idea to understand, however, I have not been able to find answers to a few questions I have had anywhere.  I read Q&A sessions (more…)
