Students getting paid to study…WHAT?

As I was browsing the newswires yesterday, I came across an article discussing a new program schools in America are promoting: a “Learn and Earn” program. Are you kidding me? Ebay cutting listing fees…but how about better reporting!

Ebay announced today that it will be cutting listing fees by up to 50% in an effort to stay competitive with up and coming e-commerce sites. They will offset the reduced listing fees by charging more commission for sold items. I first used Ebay when I was in 7th grade and it was and has been a terrific e-outlet to make a few extra bucks on stuff you don’t find useful, but that someone else will. However, I have never thought highly of the way fees and expenses are reported and displayed to customers of the site. It has always been very sloppy and delivered in poor fashion. Why Burress made the fatal error when playing New England.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Super Bowl has been decided. Your 2007-2008 champions - The New England Patriots. New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress has committed the fatal mistake when matching up against the Patriots: he gave them bulletin board material. The Patriots are a team that thrives on the spoken word against them. The culprit this time? How will marketing the “Dark Knight” be handled due to the passing of Heath Ledger?

On Tuesday, Heath Ledger passed away with no known cause of death announced yet. The actor had just finished filming his role as “The Joker” in the upcoming Dark Knight installment of the Batman series. The Dark KnightI am interested in seeing how marketing for this movie is handled now that one of the main stars of the film has passed away. The producers of the film initially planned on using “The Joker” as the main draw for the film, however, will they still choose to do so now that Heath has passed away?
